Judith Duff has been a full time studio potter since 1991. Her work is wood-fired, and she creates it with the purpose to be used and enjoyed everyday. Her educational background is in both biology and painting and she has studied in and visited Japan numerous times in order to broaden her ideas and her craft, which is rooted in the traditional Japanese Shino tradition. She currently lives in North Carolina and is represented in the Arkansas Arts Center Collection.
